This isn’t some new Astrological fad! Planets have always gone into Retrograde cycles and will continue to appear to move backward in the future every year. Mercury in Rx like all Retrograde planets, as is happening for a reason. These little mistakes and going back and doing things over can lead to it being a time of growth and personal development. One of the best things you can do during any Mercury Retrograde cycle is to write things down, take notes, and do anything you can to remember, taking these simple actions can make this whole Mercury in Retrograde experience so much easier to get through and navigate. Otherwise, Mercury can be one giant headache for ya, especially if you try to push forward with brand-new plans, it just doesn’t usually work out so well. Refresh your life by doing things over again, and ask lots of questions. We should revise plans and personal goals perhaps, revisit anything that needs to be worked on, reconnect with loved ones, and business contacts, and redo just about anything if it helps, and usually, it does during this time. Remember Mercury represents the mind and how we perceive information, so when in Retrograde it is a time to go back over things and reassess our lives. There are certain things we should be doing during a Mercury Retrogrades cycle, like starting something over or finishing up projects we’ve already started. The after Shadow period is when things get wonky again at first, as we slowly get back to normal, at least we start to feel like we are mentally moving forward again and eventually back to some kind of normalcy. July 12 to 26 – The after Shadow phase that lasts until Mercury leaves Retrograde. June 18 to July 12 – Is the Actual Retrograde Phaseĭuring the actual Retrograde phase, we deal mainly with miscommunications and annoying technical glitches, this time I think we’ll see a whole lot of folks get visited from both friends and lovers from their past, as Cancer’s ruling planet is the Moon and this brings up our past experiences to review and helps us tap into our unconscious mind. June 2 to 18 – Pre-Shadow period before Mercury goes Retrograde, as it slows downĭuring this Shadow phase, you get a sample of what part of your life this particular Mercury Retrograde will affect Three Phases of Mercury’s Retrograde cycle: And computer and online problems that affect both personal and business can be a really big issue this go around. There will be delays and cancellations of all kinds in all situations. The first part of the actual Retrograde cycle starts on the 18th can be bumpy folks, with travel issues that include driving or flying especially. Now there will also be challenges with this Mercury in Retrograde cycle as it’s aspecting the Eclipse on June 21st. This Mercury in Retrograde is in the sign of Cancer, (June 21st-July 22nd) so it does tend to affect those with Cancer astrological placements in their personal “Natal Astrology Charts” a bit more strong, but it runs much deeper than that and affects all of us no matter what Signs we have. I know it’s an interesting turn of events! But rather than just being mischievous the trickster planet, Mercury might bring in some luck for some folks, as it makes a strong connection to the star, Sirius! So even as annoying as Mercury Retrograde can be at least this time around it can bring some success and wealth as well. However, this isn’t one of my normal anti-Mercury Retrograde write-ups, as this particular backward cycle of Mercury can likely be somewhat of a good influence as well.
Mercury Retrograde is usually quite annoying to most people as it causes communication and technology breakdowns, and it can bring delays with travel and shipments.
Here we go again! Those two dreaded words are once again upon us, as “Mercury Retrograde” starts on June 18th and runs through July 12th!
